When the Dog bites when the bee stings...
Paige's favorite things are ice cream, Sydney, Sisters, Grandparents, Hope, ballet, Mason, bikes, and Sam.
Strawberry ice cream of course. But Paige also loves swedish meatballs, spagetti, jammy dodgers, and pan chocolate. But no lettuce please!
Kittens because Mom and Dad won't get her one. Or a dog, or a hampster, or an African land snail. The short time that our bunny Shadow survived in central London was enough of a test.
Sydney Dodini is Paige's beloved best friend from Virginia who she talks about a lot. And misses daily.
Sisters, there are not many girls lucky enough to have two of them! One day when Anna was sick this fall, Paige said "Mom but who will I play with when I cant find my friends!" It is very sweet to see them playing together on the playground and looking like twins in their school uniforms. It is true that on Paige's first day of school one of the girls in Anna's class mistook Paige for Annie! Paige also loves to play with Juliette and can spend hours playing with her after school and on weekends.
We have been lucky that all of our grandparents are so accessible by phone and come to visit us too! Paige really misses being a short drive from Grandma and Grandpa Swift but we are thankful for the times that we do get to see them and Grandma and Grandpa Osguthorpe as well.
Paige and Hope wait for eachother at the school gates then link arms and walk around the playground chatting. Hope was one of the first friends that Paige met in London and they are firm friends. It is an added benefit that Hope is also the second of four children similar ages as Paiges siblings. Anna and Eve are particularly good friends, but Juliette and Arty are a pair as well.
Ballet is Paige's love and she is very good at it. She can see when it is beautiful and seems to know just how to move. It is fun to watch her!
Mason Swift (Carter and Brooke's son) is a favorite cousin after this past summer's family reunion. They really enjoyed being together. We just loved watching them.
Paige learned to ride her bike without training wheels this year. She is a little speed demon now and definatley keeps me running.
Sam love to play with Paige and is always very excited to go get her from school. Paige is good at teaching him songs and trains with him.
